This book is a study of collective efficacy in eight neighborhoods in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Using residential surveys, observations, and new methods of statistical and mapping analysis (kriging), the book provides a number of important findings relevant to the theory itself, ramifications for its use within communities, and implications for current and future research.
