Photographer Rudolph Steiner visits Trafalgar, British Columbia, where he plans to re-connect with Eliza Winters, who left him 25 years ago to marry Police Sergeant John Winters. When Steiner is found dead, suspicion falls upon Eliza, and John is forced to decide between loyalty to his job or his wife.
