A guide for those involved in transporting cattle. The code emphasises the responsibilities of the owner of the cattle, or the agent, livestock transporters, attendants and railway officials. It is intended to encourage considerate treatment of the cattle so that transport stress and injury are minimised at all stages of the transport operation.
