In this eyebrow-raising sequel to her raunchy memoir, The Toyboy Diaries, Wendy Salisbury exposes the highs and lows of life as a fabulously seductive older woman. Wendy, now sixty, is embarking on yet another brick-wall relationship with a man young enough to be her son. Her friends despair of her, her ever-increasing brood of grandchildren demand more of her, her ailing antiques business worries her - is it time to hang up her lacy lingerie and seek stability with a more suitable suitor Vowing to stay off toyboys, Wendy endeavours to take love seriously and find herself a sensible older man. But as she grapples with toyboy temptation, the big questions remain: can she ever satisfy her hunger for young lovers Can an older man provide her with the passion that she needs And though she likes antiques, does she really want one in the bedroom
Wendy Salisbury was born in London in 1946 to first-generation Russian Jewish immigrants. At 21, she married, had a daughter, divorced four years later, married again, and had another daughter. In 1995, aged 49, she met a 27-year-old with whom she lived for the next seven years. She began her monthly column in Absolute Marbella and Essential magazines on current affairs, social comment and womens issues, and appeared in a BBC documentary entitled 'Passion Never Dies'. Wendy has also had a career as an antiques dealer. She is currently researching the sequel to The Toyboy Diaries, entitled The Daily Male.
