What, is someone writing it for you

No. Im writing it. Its my book. Its about me! I said.

But what about the spelling and the whole dyslexia thing she said. Im sure the people that publish the book or my agent will check all of that, I said. So from the get-go I apologise if there are any typos or grammatical mistakes. There shouldnt be, as Im sure the book-making fairy has checked through it all. Big cheers to the book-making fairy! Hurraaahhh!

Ive actually written books before. Seven, if Im blowing my own trumpet. But never about me, Leigh Francis. Not many people know the real me. They know Keith Lemon, Avid Merrion, The Bear, but this book is all about who I am, out of character, totally honest, just being me. Theres going to be some sad bits, but hopefully therell be more happy bits thatll put a smile on your face a few times. Its everything I can remember up to the present day.

When I was at school they called me Francis, Franny, Eyes (my middle name is Izaak hence eyes, I guess). Oh, Ive also been called Ginger Bollox many times too, Ginger Bastard, Fat Ginger Bastard, all the ginger stuff. But I aint moaning about that. I am ginger! Ginger and proud.

Anyway, lets start with my first memory, which was being circumcised when I was three. If were going to be starting at all.

Author Bio

Leigh is best known for his charismatic alter-ego Keith Lemon, in which he hosted 26 series of Celebrity Juice, the iconic BAFTA, National Television Awards, and TV Choice Awards winning show.

Leigh has also hosted and produced a whole range of popular shows for British TV, including Bo Selecta! (Channel 4), Through The Keyhole (ITV), The Keith Lemon Sketch Show (ITV2), Lemon La Vida Loca (ITV2) and The Keith & Paddy Picture Show (ITV). In addition to this, Leigh wrote and starred in his own film Keith Lemon: The Film.

Most recently, he filmed Series 4 of Shopping with Keith Lemon (ITV2) and launched a new podcast Back Then When alongside Lucie Cave. In March 2024, Leigh begins his first ever 24 date live tour entitled My First Time.
