An outspoken, right-wing lipstick lesbian, Sue-Ann Levy has spent her life challenging the status quo - from championing the underdog to taking on the Liberal left, to running as the first openly gay candidate for the Ontario Progressive Conservative party in 2009. Underdog chronicles Levy's journey through Toronto politics with the same candid, humorous, and self-deprecating approach for which she has become famous for using in her daily columns in The Toronto Sun.
SUE-ANN LEVY is an investigative reporter/columnist for the Toronto Sun/Sun Media chain. Prior to this assignment, she spent nearly 16 years at Toronto City Hall and at Queen's Park exposing waste, mismanagement and political correctness gone amok, and the plight of the homeless. Her efforts at getting to the truth were rewarded with Sun Media's 2012 Investigative Reporting award for her series on Regent Park. She lives with her wife, Denise Alexander, in Toronto and Florida. The author lives in Toronto.
