Author Bio

John S. Kloppenborg is a University Professor and Professor of Religion in the Department for the Study of Religion at the University of Toronto, Canada. Recent publications include Christs Associations: Connecting and Belonging in the Ancient City (2019), Vols. I and III of Greco-Roman Associations: Texts, Translations, and Commentary (with R. Ascough, 2011, 2020) and Q, The Earliest Gospel: An Introduction to the Original Sayings and Stories of Jesus (2008).
