Georges St. Pierre is a Canadian-born fighter from Montreal, Quebec, and is the current reigning welterweight champion of the UFC. He practices various fighting disciplines such as boxing, wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in addition to his karate background, and won his first amateur bout at age 16.
