Author Bio

Wayne Stewart has now written 20 books and countless magazine articles. He was born and raised in Donora, PA, a town that has produced big league baseball players, including Stan Musial and the father-son Griffeys. Mr. Stewart now lives in Lorain, OH, and is married to Nancy (Panich) Stewart. They have two sons, Sean and Scott. Mr. Steward has covered the baseball world since 1978 and has interviewed and profiled many Hall of Famers, including Nolan Ryan, Bob Gibson, and Warren Spahn. He has appeared, as a baseball expert/historian, on Cleveland's Fox 8 and on ESPN Classic.
