What you are about to read is my true story of a woman raised by a father who was a zealous religious scholar, psychic, and Spiritualist medium. I was eight years old when I was first told by my father's spirit guides and earthly advisors that I, too, would become a medium in my later years. However, because of my disastrous relationship with my father, which gave me a distorted view of all religions and spirituality, I vehemently denied that possibility. Through over forty years I struggled to find release from my fears of psychic phenomena by searching for my answers in psychology. Eventually, through a chain of amazing circumstances, I came to a time when I was compelled to re-examine spiritualism as a skeptical adult.

Jean McCleese mother of two, grandmother of three, and great-grandmother of one for now lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia with her wonderful husband Bill. At 83 years old she is living a full and vibrant life all while taking the time to write her newest book!
