This book is about a wonderful life lived in the backwoods of Jackson County, Fla. We did not have electricity or running water. We plowed the farm with a mule. Mama cooked on a wood stove and made some of our clothes from flour sacks. Most of our neighbors were poor black folks. Poor just like we were. We loved our neighbors and got along very well. We worked in the fields for the same pay.At 18, with the grace of God, I secured a job in the space industry. Worked for GE for 47 years and was very successful in sales.Marilyn and I had daughters. All very successful. In many incentive programs, Marilyn traveled to many wonderful places in the world. My stories are about my life on the farm, in my profession and a wonderful life we had with our family.
