Sofia Seitchik, the founder of Global Deaf Women, has a mission to inspire, uplift, and lead Deaf women to revitalize their life dreams. Today Sofia is an author, motivational speaker, and visionary coach. Also, she is an immigrant from Uzbekistan and boarded in a Deaf school in St. Petersburg, Russia (former the Soviet Union). She has traveled around the world for seven months with her husband, David, and two teen boys.

Sofia has a strong background in embodiment transformation coaching over 14 years; working with Deaf women's walks of life has inspired her to publish a book, The Light of Deaf Women: Inspirational Stories From Visionaries, Artists, Founders & Entrepreneurs.
