When Meryl was a child she knew she wanted to fly and see the world. Her story takes her all over the world, she was fluent in several languages and studied in France and Russia before she was eighteen. One day while in college she saw an article about learning to fly and at that point, she decided she was going to be an airline captain. The journey began an exciting sometimes frustrating journey. This is a story about that journey and is a must read for everyone, in particular, young girls that need some inspiration in meeting the challenges of pursuing things that were not always available to women.
I wrote the Final Chapter and as she wished republished the book The World at My Feet and published the new book Cancer We are not Amused I am of course her husband
