This biography covers my life's experiences before and after my US Supreme Court battle with the State of Florida Board of Accountancy. Rather it is a glimpse into the ups and downs of a life well-lived and the family and friends who stood by me through it all. It emphasizes my early years such as leaving Cuba as a child, falling in love, my first job, studying law school part-time while working as a CPA full-time, prevailing in a disciplinary case at the highest court in the land- US Supreme Court on a first Amendment issue- free speech, and ultimately surviving breast cancer in 2003.

Author Bio

I am a practicing attorney who is also a licensed CPA- Certified Public Accountant, and a CFP-Certified Financial Planner who has also had several interesting life experiences to share with family, friend and general public. In addition, I have been fortunate to practice several related professions, including but not limited to: university professor, Florida Circuit Court Mediator, chorus member in the Orlando Opera Chorus in years past.
