How's It Feel, Tough Guy are the audible words God spoke to Mike in his prison cell. How he would respond to that question was a matter of life and death. In this memoir, Mike goes in-depth into the root issues and causes of addiction and destructive behaviors. He addresses strongholds laid in his childhood, and shows how the power of Christ saved, delivered and released him to become the man God always intended him to be.
You don't have to have been incarcerated to be changed by this book. He speaks about the unhealthy relationships, domestic violence, fatherhood, marriage and how God redeemed it all for His glory. From a 7 year old boy to a 93 year old woman and everyone in between, they have all found themselves somewhere in the pages of this book.
Mike Palombi is the President of Prisoner of Hope Ministries, Inc. which is a nonprofit organization that shares the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to impact the hearts and lives of men, women, and youth in Prison and Recovery. Their mission is to disciple and support those individuals in their spiritual and emotional healing in order to become loving and productive citizens in their communities.
With the introduction of virtual technology, they have added weekly discipleship meetings, via zoom, to their ministry and are adding more prisons to their schedule.
Mike's memoir, How's It Feel, Tough Guy From Prisoner Pride to Prisoner of Hope is a compelling story of overcoming trauma to experience healing. Together with his wife, Heidi, they use this testimony as a vehicle to bring the hope of the gospel message to those most others seem hopeless. They have donated thousands of books to prisons and recovery centers across America.
Mike is a keynote speaker for men's groups, churches, recovery events, drug treatment centers and prisons. He and Heidi have also served for seven years as Celebrate Recovery ministry leaders. They are currently working with Global Prison Seminaries Foundation to get a four-year seminary into a maximum-security prison in their home state of New Jersey. They are active members and leaders at El Bethel International Ministries Church in Port Jervis, New York.
