I hope this book motivates and helps you on your road to recovery, whether from stroke or from other obstacles that have knocked you down. My story of resilience will show you that life is a marathon, not a sprint. You've got to take it day by day, and you have to be patient and honor where you're at in the process.
As a stroke survivor who has seen every obstacle imaginable, giving up would have been easy, but where there's a Bill, there's a way. Along with the support of his family, stroke buddies, countless friends, faith, hope & perseverance he has beaten all odds.
Born and raised in South Texas, an athlete his entire life, with a root in faith and family, Bill was well on his way to writing a book about coaching and basketball when a severe stroke stopped him in his tracks. For over a decade he dedicated his time to rehabilitation and researching stroke recovery methods in an effort to not only help himself but also help other stroke survivors.
