I am going to be 80 years old on August 4, 2015. Unbelievable! FABULOUS is the word that best describes my life so far! Shawn asked me to record special memories. Let me start at the very beginning, so you will know a little about me before I met your father, Faith, and Alex.

As I gathered photos of my early life, some of which I had not seen for many years, I found the experience to be healing. Forgotten photos of my family and friends inspired me, and they made me realize how fortunate I was to have been surrounded by those good people. They helped shape my life. When I reminisced about them and put my thoughts on paper, I became far more appreciative!

You have shown such love and support. Your enthusiasm toward this ongoing endeavor excites me. I am delighted that you, the Ellis children and grandchildren, want me to share my life story. Writing this for you has been an incredible experience. I am so grateful to be a part of your adult lives and to have this time to see you grow and flourish. I wish you happiness, success, and good health.

Jean Ellis was born in 1935 and lived and exceptional life. From the small town of Kellogg Idaho she spread her wings across most of the continents. A teacher, a musician, a wife, and mother. From a more simple time to the current age of electronics. This is her story of love, family, and adventure. I hope it will inspire your adventures as well.
