Praise for Does God Still Bless the USA: A Plea for a Better America by Lee Greenwood
"Barbara and I are very happy that you have written a book issuing "A Plea for a Better America." Who Better! You are an American icon, known and loved not only for the joy your music has brought to millions, but for your love of country and your unwavering support for our men and women in uniform. You're a great American, Lee, and we Bushes treasure our friendship with you."
--PRESIDENT GEORGE H.W. BUSH
"Lee Greenwood's famous song 'God Bless the U.S.A.' is heard year-round during the most special moments in the lives of Americans. Greenwood is not only an exceptional entertainer, but one who makes a difference and stands up for what he believes. Lee's new book Does God Still Bless the U.S.A delves deep into what matters most to Americans and what must be done to protect the sovereignty of this great nation. It is a must read for everyone who believes that God does, in fact, still bless the U.S.A."

"I've known Lee Greenwood for many years and worked with him on different occasions. He is a multi-talented entertainer whose contributions to country music are legendary. He has also offered support for our troops around the world and embraces this role. Not only has Lee written, "God Bless the U.S.A.", a song that moves us each and every time it is heard, he has written a book that asks us to evaluate America's future. Congratulations, Lee! You are a true patriot. I hope those who read it are inspired to respect, protect and cherish our beloved nation as never before."
--REBA MCENTIRE
"What do you call a guy who loves his country and our military so much that he would be willing to help support them at a moment's notice I call him by his name...Lee Greenwood. Not only has Lee written a song that will go down in history as one of the most beloved anthems of patriotism, but he lives out his faith in God and country every day. Does God Still Bless the U.S.A raises some thought-provoking questions and asks us all to consider our part in maintaining our 'sweet land of liberty' for future generations. This book's message will be felt long after the last page is read."
--CHUCK NORRIS
"When most people think about Lee Greenwood it's the most natural thing in the world to start singing "God Bless the U.S.A." which in my opinion will be the most remembered and longest lasting patriotic songs since the National Anthem. But be that as it may, it is only one of the hits Lee has had. You don't sustain a successful and long-lasting career like his without being an entertainer and Lee Greenwood is a superb entertainer and that's something either 'you git it or you don't git it.' Lee 'gits' it. Lee, my fellow entertainer, patriot, avid supporter of our military and hale fellow well met, may God bless you and our beloved U.S.A."
--CHARLIE DANIELS
"I have to admit I'm one of those guys who is moved every single time I hear Lee Greenwood sing 'God Bless the U.S.A.'. I think it moves me because I know Lee and I know his heart for our country and for our soldiers. I think it's more than just a song for me because it's more than just a song for Lee. And when I heard that he was writing a book about the issues that concern our homeland, I knew I had to read it. The book, just like the song, is a true reflection of his heart and a rallying point for all of us who love this country."
--Michael W. Smith
"'God Bless the U.S.A.' is more than a powerful and popular song. It is a passionate plea of a true patriot. It has been my joy to know Lee and Kim Greenwood since 2001. In August of that year, I became their pastor at First Baptist Church Sevierville, Tennessee. Less than two weeks later, September 11 shook our nation and when it did, Lee once again assumed the role of Ambassador of Encouragement to our country. Lee is focused, driven by principle and priorities. He loves his Lord, his family, and his homeland. He can bring a room full of people to their feet or be at home at a church gym playing a pick-up game of basketball. He has written some of the most popular songs in recent history and yet Lee has also worked with children's choirs at his church. He has been a good friend and a great encourager to his paster. Does God Still Bless the U.S.A. is a timely question in the uncertain times. If you desire to be challenged to go to the next level as a patriot and be encouraged as a citizen, this is a book that you need to read."
