Melanie Hope Lang is a debut author who teaches high school English, travels the world, and rescues wild animals around her home. Melanie has lived in 5 states and over 13 cities. When not living the gypsy life, she and her husband have planted their roots in Western Kentucky, where they raise four extraordinary children. Melanie earned her bachelor's in Secondary English Education after seven years of college as a single mother. While teaching, she realized the various needs of her students and continued her education for four additional years. Since then, Melanie has earned a master's in Teacher Leadership: Reading & Writing Specialist and another master's in Teacher Leadership: Gifted & Talented Coordinator. As a successful public school educator, Melanie specializes in children who risk falling through the gaps of society.
