Doreen reaches out and draws you into her world and her heart.
Recently retired as an attorney with The Florida Bar after 21 years of practice. I went to law school after more than 20 years as a Miami newspaper writer, editor and columnist. I spent a few years in Washington, D.C., as a research assistant for the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee on Crime. I interviewed witnesses for Congressional hearings and wrote reports and speeches for the Chairman, the late Honorable Claude Pepper. I co-authored Sex and the Senior Citizen based on 1,000 interviews with senior citizens, a book which led to a change in the Social Security law. My co-author and I sold the play rights and Sex and the Senior Citizen was the basis for an off-Broadway play.
