Author Bio

Gwen Dorsey was born in New Orleans and Baptized at Do Rights Baptist Church in Gonzales, Louisiana. Her story highlights years of childhood abuse, and unfathomable family secrets. Her memoir is the path to inner healing. Today Gwen is a successful Associate Broker with Keller Williams, one of the largest real estate companies in the world. She was recognized as a Multi-Million Producer in 2020 and for 21 years she has helped families who couldn't imagine the pride of home ownership, find their first home. Gwen also has an Associate of Arts degree and loves supporting the arts as well as mentoring and giving back to her community. As a single parent, not only was Gwen a young mother raising sons Bryant, Jeremy, and David, she also raised all of her siblings, as well as their children. She has been a featured speaker at the Annual Celebration of Women: Linking the Chains to Success and has been honored for her lifetime achievements. Gwen currently lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
