Description

One mother's story of love, loss and a fight to protect our children's futures in the digital age On 11 February 2023, 16-year-old Brianna Ghey was lured to a local park where she was tragically murdered. Amidst the international outpouring of outrage, anguish and displays of support, her usually shy and private mother, Esther, came to reflect on how she could redirect her personal grief into campaigning to help others and to create a lasting legacy for her child. A clarion call for change, this is an essential and urgent read about finding threads of hope in the darkest of times and uniting to protect our young people from the threats they face in an increasingly unchecked digital world.

Reviews

One of the most unflinching, inspirational autobiographies Ive read, a remarkable cry of hope from the depths of despair. Powerful as a polemic, astounds as an exploration of forgiveness and hope * Guardian *
Remarkable * Daily Mail *
Unflinchingly honest...a very powerful and very moving book -- Anita Rani * Woman's Hour *
Remarkablereally honest -- Lorraine Kelly
Under a Pink Sky could justifiably have been a furious tirade of a book, but instead it is articulate, thoughtful, full of self-reflection and forgiveness and, yes, it is brave * The New Statesman *
'Under a Pink Sky is an unflinching and beautifully brave autobiography. An urgent clarion call for uniting to protect our young people from an increasingly unchecked digital world.' * Smartphone Free Childhood *
