Melanie Lambert has always had a vivid imagination, an ironic sense of humour and recently, an unexpected talent for poetry that moves and inspires. A qualified survival manager on planet Earth, she endured a rocky road to adulthood and eventually achieved her dream of becoming a published author. She also brought another human being into the world, being a mother who navigated sole-parenting without a guide book. Her greatest accomplishment she would say is a hard-won mastery over self-sabotage and limitations. Her most valued award is the Appreciation Award, presented to her by her daughter for always being there.
