Filiberto Cruz Monroy estudie biologa, pero me gusta contar historias: soy reportero. Comence mi andadura periodstica a los 18 aos, transcribiendo artculos que mi pap, Filiberto Cruz Obregn, escriba para el maestro Huberto Batis y que se publicaban en el diario Unomsuno. Gracias a que mi padre no le gustaba redactar en la computadora, tuve la oportunidad de aprender, a teclazo limpio, cmo se "armaba" un texto. En el mbito reporteril, di mis primeros pasos en la "policiaca" y pocos meses despues me tope con mi primer caso de un asesino serial: el tristemente celebre Canbal de la Guerrero.

I studied biology, but I like to tell stories: I'm a reporter. I began my journalistic career at the age of 18, transcribing articles that my father, Filiberto Cruz Obregn, wrote for the teacher Huberto Batis and that were published in the newspaper Unomsuno. Thanks to the fact that my father did not like to write on the computer, I had the opportunity to learn, with a clean keystroke, how to "put together" a text. In the field of reporting, I took my first steps in the "police" and a few months later I came across my first case of a serial killer: the infamous Cannibal of the Guerrero.
