Author Bio

Gerald M. Pinciss is Professor Emeritus at Hunter College and the Graduate Center of The City University of New York. He has published several other books on Shakespeare and Elizabethan England, including Shakespeare's World (Continuum), which he co-edited. Pinciss lives in New York City. Co-editor with Gerald M. Pinciss of Shakespeare's World (published by Continuum International), Roger Lockyer is also the author of Tudor and Stuart Britain. He is Emeritus Reader in History at Royal Holloway and Bedford New College, University of London
