Chris Thompson is a recipient of the Channel 4 Playwrights Scheme Bursary (formerly the Pearson Playwright Award). In 2013 he took part in the Kudos / Bush Initiative and the Royal Court invitation studio writers group. Chris is the Channel 4 Playwright in Residence at the Finborough Theatre, where his acclaimed debut play Carthage had a sold-out run early in 2014.
