A reading of Boa premiered at the Hightide Festival 2014.
Clara Brennan is a playwright and TV drama writer. As a playwright her work has been performed at the Soho Theatre, Southwark Playhouse, York Theatre Royal, The Duke's Theatre, the Arcola Theatre and the Traverse Theatre, and her plays include Rain, Portmanteau, Monogram, Bud Take The Wheel, I Feel A Song Coming On, Hi Vis and Spine. In 2012, she was awarded the OffWestEnd Adopt a Playwright Award for her play The Vendor. In 2013, Clara was awarded the Channel 4 Screen writing Prize and is working on an attachment with the Soho Theatre. She is also studying for a PhD and her thesis explores Empathy and the Performance of Human Rights.
