Written between 1983 and 1998, they showcase Wellmans ongoing exploration of the limits of language and the consequences of humanity in the postmodern world.
Mac Wellman is a three-time Obie award-winning dramatists whose work is widely performed. He has won Rockefeller, NEA, and Guggenheim fellowhsips and the 1997 Lila Wallace-Reader's Digest Writer's Award. In 1997, he was honored with a six-month festival of his work, featuring thirty of his plays staged in four cities. He is the Donald I. Fine Professor of Playwriting at Brooklyn College.
