Dublin by Lamplight was devised by Michael West with The Corn Exchange Theatre Company. It premiered in Project Arts Centre Dublin in November 2004, toured throughout Ireland to great critical and popular acclaim, and will be performed at the Traverse Theatre during the Edinburgh Festival in August 2005.

Author Bio

Michael West has worked on a number of collaborations with the Dublin-based Corn Exchange Theatre Co mpany in the past, including Foley (2000/2001) and A Play on Two Chairs. He has written numerous tra nslations that have been produced, including Death and the Ploughman (Gate Theatre, London, 2002), T he Seagull, and versions of The Marriage of Figaro (Abbey Theatre) and Tartuffe (Gate Theatre, Dubli n).
