Fresh Kills takes its name from the parking lot on the enormous trash dump that is Staten Island, USA. It is where Eddie, married with a young son, goes to meet with Arnold - the teenage boy whom he has met via the internet. When they meet it becomes obvious that Arnold's interest in him goes beyond their night-time encounters. Very soon the state of the kitchen cabinets and her husband's reluctance to listen to her needs, will form just the backdrop to a more tragic set of events in the lives of Marie, Eddie and Arnold.
