Author Bio

Robert Louis Stevenson was born in Edinburgh in 1850 and died in 1894. He studied at Edinburgh University and then went on to become a novelist, poet and travel writer. RLS wrote prolifically and among his most well known works are The Strange Case of Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde and Treasure Island. Gary McNair is a multi-award-winning writer and performer from Glasgow who aims to challenge and entertain in equal measure. Previous shows include: Square Go, Donald Robertson is Not a Stand Up Comedian, A Gamblers Guide To Dying, Letters To Morrissey, and Locker Room Talk. He has three times won the Scotsman Fringe First Award and has toured the world with his plays. His work has been translated into multiple languages including Italian, Arabic and Japanese.
