Eve Nicol's work is lead by new and contemporary text and usually involves a rock/pop musical element. She creates productions as Heroes Theatre based at Glasgow Theatre Arts Collective in Govan. Recent work includes a table top production of Simon Stephens' Sea Wall which toured Glasgow and London pubs, a live illustrated story book tackling anxiety (Hero) and a punk theatre poem celebrating teen grrl friendships and fish (GUTTERED). As an Assistant Director, Eve has worked with David Greig at The Lyceum, Edinburgh (Glory on Earth), and Andy Arnold at The Tron, Glasgow (Cock). Recent support for new performance projects includes MGC Futures, National Theatre of Scotland and the Tom McGrath Trust.
