She is the recipient of a Helen Merrill Playwriting Award, a Lecomte du Nouy Lincoln Center Playwriting Award, and is a Susan Smith Blackburn Award finalist. Kin received an Outer Critics Circle nomination for Outstanding New Off-Broadway Play. She also writes film and television and is a WGA nominee for her work on HBOs Boardwalk Empire.
