Description

Angela is a Blair Babe', trusted by Gordon, champion of a 59 million new PFI hospital and now on course for a promotion to the Cabinet. She is also wife to the too-smooth Larry, mother to a hormonal teenager and carer of her father, a union man.
When an old friend and journalist manages to get her hands on a document that could end her political career, it is obvious that someone is threatening to thwart her ambitions. As a successful socialist, however, she couldn't have got where she is today without making tough decisions...and always with the greater good in mind.
A play about those New Labour times- about political choices and the inevitable price to be paid - Question Time was produced at the Arcola Theatre in February 2004.

Author Bio

Andy de la Tour is a director and actor as well as an author. He recently appeared in the premiere of Harold Pinters Celebration in London & New York. His original stage plays include 'Viva!', 'Here We Go', 'Safe In Our Hands', 'Landslide', 'Collateral Damage', and 'Snogging Ken'. He has adapted works by Dario Fo, and recently translated 'A Family Affair' from the original 'Un Air de Famille' by Agns Jaoui and Jean-Pierre Bacri.
