Author Bio

Gary Duggan was born in Donaghmede in Dublin in 1979. He studied Media Production at the Dublin Institute of Technology. Since graduating, he has directed several short films and music videos as well as a digital feature called Crimson Underworld. Gary won the Stewart Parker Trust Award for his first play, Monged (Fishamble: The New Play Company and Belgrade Theatre, Coventry). His other work includes Shibari (the Abbey Theatre), Dedalus Lounge (Pageant Wagon, also Royal Family Productions, NY), Mission (part of an anthology show End Of Lines, Origin Theatre Company, NY), Trans-Euro Express (Pageant Wagon, also Fundamental Theater Project and Irish Arts Center, NY) and Neuropolis (Duggan & Logue, ABSOLUT Fringe). Gary also writes for film and television.
