Sauchiehall Street premiered at the Cumbernauld Theatre, North Lanarkshire, Scotland in March 2004 in a production by Vanishing Point Theatre Company.
Iain Heggie's work includes A Wholly Healthy Glasgow, American Bagpipes, Clyde Nouveau, Tourist Vari ations, a libretto, Politics in the Park, Lust, The Sex Comedies, An Experienced Woman Gives Advice, King of Scotland, Wiping My Mother's Arse and Love Freaks. He also teaches acting and improvisation at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and has directed plays at the Tron Theatre and the RSAMD.
