Shopping and F***ing is an uncompromising portrait of contemporary society as a place in which social bonds have been dismantled and primary relationships have been replaced by weightless, consumerist desires. By turns, bleak, sensational, funny and heartbreaking, Ravenhill's 'state-of-the-nation' play is vitally up-to-date in its description of a fatal loss of connection.
"'Shopping And F***ing is a darkly humorous play for today's twenty-somethings... a real coup de theatre' Nicholas de Jongh, Evening Standard"
