Laura Glck Radicevic is a native Croatian who is also fluent in English and German- she plays equally well on piano and guitar and has written her own music with lyrics. I was impressed with her dedication to her arts and her willingness to continue her education in these fields. Aside from a beautiful voice, she is an extremely likable person. I first encountered her as lead in Karl Jenkins Songs of Sanctuary #1- or Adiemus as it is more commonly known- haunting.
My experience with poetry- especially the poetry of Scandinavia, Homeric Greece, and Virgil's Rome has prompted me to experiment- not only with the languages of the dead, but also revisiting them since I have retired a second time. I have found that studying these ancient tongues that my life and my writing have been truly enriched. I will continue to experiment- bringing ancient verse forms into contemporary poetry.
