A powerful follow-up to the Governor General's Literary Award shortlisted sulphurtongue that excavates the interior "troublescape" of intimate abuse. Rebecca Salazar's antibody is a collection of visceral, vivid poems about many forms of violence and its profound impact on women and queer people. Compelling, fearless, and exquisitely crafted, these poems take horror tropes like body horror and push the boundaries of what poetry can do and be.
REBECCA SALAZAR (she/they) is a writer, editor, and community organizer living on the unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik. Salazar is the author of two chapbooks, and her first full-length collection sulphurtongue was a finalist for the 2021 Governor General's Award for Poetry.
