This collection spans 1,500 years of this tradition with a selection of the key poets and teachers starting with Great Master Wonhyo the founder of Korean Zen Buddhism.
Christopher Merrill is directs the International Writing Program at the University of Iowa.
Author Bio
Christopher Merrill's poems, essays, fiction, and reviews have appeared in many publications. He has published three collections of poems, several books of translations, a non-fiction book on soccer, and a non-fiction book on the Balkan tragedy. He is the Director of the International Program at the Iowa Writers Workshop.
