Description

This collection of my poetry is mine but it is written through experiences I have shared with other people. This book should let people know they aren't alone when they look in the mirror and don't like who is looking back, or when someone leaves them again and they wonder why no one seems to want them. The feeling of being loved and lost and afraid to trust anyone, being pushed into forgetting abuse or forgiving it when you don't want to. This book is a way for others to understand that when you are feeling the most vulnerable people need to hear you speak.

Author Bio

I never know what to say so I feel pressured into being defensive and things come out wrong. That's why I started writing so that I would be able to read what I actually felt, so this is me and I am just going to blurt it out .I am insecure if I leave the house with no makeup on, I hate when people ask me my favourite music because I'm embarrassed they won't like it, i am really inverted when I'm not around my friends and the most extroverted with them, I get scared walking home alone at night because when I was younger I was obsessed with crime shows, i love going on drives with my friends and blasting music so I don't have to think about anything else, i have trust issues and am scared people will leave most of the time so I find a way to leave first, my favourite animal is a penguin because I call my dad fat penguin and he calls me tiny penguin, I love talking to my grandma it feels like she is the only person who listens, my nonno is the most supportive person in my life and I love when he tries to act cool by saying really bad kid references like funky and rad, I loved it when I was younger and me and my brother would use the laundry and dress up as superheroes and our masks would be our underwear, I love cucumber sandwiches because they remind me of when my mom made them for tea parties we both would have with my dolls. Yes I am only 15 but so far this is me.
