Through a series of poems, Abi Lynn describes the pain, anxiety, fear, and joy of finding ourselves. Inspired by her personal struggles with mental health, Abi goes into depth about her anxiety including struggles with friendships, relationships, growing up in a small community, dealing with self-harm, sexual assault, and more. Abi is an aspiring poet and future teacher from rural Illinois. Her love for poetry started at a young age, and it has been her dream to be published before graduation. She plans to continue to share her stories through writing and her passion for literature through teaching. Her experience with mental health has led her down a path to help others in their own journeys.Ethan Main is a close childhood friend of Abi's who is an amazing artist. He has been drawing for many years and is very talented. As well as being talented in drawing, he is also a swimmer, a dedicated student, a member of FFA, has a very creative mind, and is a big supporter of Abi's poetry work. When Abi asked Ethan to draw a few pieces based on her poems, he happily agreed.
