Author Bio

L.P. Kirkbride has been writing since she was six years old and started writing poetry when she was fourteen. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in English literature. She mainly writes historical fiction but also writes in other genres such as poetry and children's stories. She is currently working on a novel series, titled Mr. Austen. She is also an artist, frequently illustrating her own books besides doing paintings. She was born in London, Ontario, Canada but now resides on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, where she also enjoys hiking, collecting old books, sewing vintage clothing and the piano.
