In, "Gardens Where We Glory" Sallie McCormick-Adams digs into life's garden and its variety. This is a beautiful poetry collection in which she discerns life and the world through her unique perceptions and understandings. Her wonderful book offers a fusion of poetry, pictures and family artwork, to create a beautifully blooming tapestry of the author's poetry and life.
For Sallie, this book was especially close to her heart. She saw life as a celebration, and all God's handiwork a palette to celebrate poetically. In her life she experienced great tragedy, heartaches, and daily trials, yet she rarely let them steal her joy, or diminish her faith. Her faith in Christ kept her strong, and gave her wings to continue forward. Her poetry carries this confidence, hope, and strength.
Sallie McCormick-Adams, through her 71 years of writing, left her mark on the world through her poetry. She was published worldwide alongside some of the most published contemporary poets of her time period.
