This book of poetry was inspired by the sickness and eventual death of James Mahoney's wife of 43 years. Each poem was written to vent the sadness and frustration Mr. Mahoney felt and to find inner healing after his loss. It is his desire that others can relate their own feelings of loss and to find comfort in his words.
James E. Mahoney was born in Michigan. He spent half of his childhood in Fair Haven on Lake St. Clair and the other half in the woods of Armada. In his spare time, he is an amateur painter and stained-glass artist. He started writing poetry after retirement from the auto industry. He writes about love and tragic loss and subjects of nature.
