A Labor of Love written for my Mother. A collection of poetry, with her inspiring words echoing throughout the chambers of my heart! This book reflects on a lifetime of thoughts and emotions infused with my mother's wise words. I guess I was listening to her after all. I have written in both Spanish an in English as that is my heritage. Being born in Texas and of Native American/Mexican descent. I really don't know what part of me is what. I do profess to being a citizen of earth who happens to live in Texas.

Author Bio

The author, Alonzo "Spiceman" Acosta was born and raised in Pecos Tx. He now resides in South Texas where he owns The Poco Loco Blues Recording Studios as well as other businesses. Alonzo also hosts The Spiceman Music Show, a blues radio show. Alonzo writes songs, children's stories, poetry, self-help, and short fictional stories. He is a grandpa, an entrepreneur and an inventor. Quick to spin a tale, keeps people smiling around him. This book is a labor of love!
