Laura Dockrill is an award-winning children's author, illustrator, script-writer and performance poet who has been shortlisted for the Waterstones' Book of the Year prize and has twice been nominated for the Carnegie Medal. She is a poet-in-residence for Radio 1 and has judged prizes including the Women's Prize and John Betjeman Poetry Prize. Laura has published an adult memoir called What Have I Done which detailed her struggles with post-partum psychosis and is now being adapted for television. She has also written a novel, I Love You, I Love You, I Love You. She grew up and still lives in Brixton with her husband and son.
