Yasuhiko Moriguchi and the late David Jenkins translated The Song in the Dream of the Hermit and Dance of Dust on the Rafters.
Yasuhiko Moriguchi was educated in Japan and the U.S. and works as a language teacher in Kyoto, Japan. He has translated several collections including The Song in the Dream of the Hermit and Dance of Dust on the Rafters. The late David Jenkins grew up in England but lived and worked for many years in Japan. Michael Hofmann has lived in Kyoto, Japan since the early 70's studying traditional Japanese naga painting with teacher, Sensei Jikihara Gyokusei. He has had many one man shows in Japan and the United States.
