Youre Gonna Love This tells the story of three entwined relationships: those between the narrator of the poem and her spouse, her television, and herself. A distinctly working-class long poem with a sharply nuanced media literacy, Youre Gonna Love This explores how television and media cultures around-the-clock presence impacts our views of the world and our connection to it. At the same time, these poems consider caretaking and the narrators journey as a caregiver, addressing the steps in her own mental-health journey with dark humour, wry cultural references, and deeply personal stories. Author Bio

Dina Del Bucchia is the author of the short-story collection Dont Tell Me What to Do (Arsenal Pulp Press, 2018), and four collections of poetry, Coping with Emotions and Otters (Talonbooks, 2013), Blind Items (Insomniac Press, 2014), Rom Com (Talonbooks, 2015, written with Daniel Zomparelli), and Its a Big Deal! (Talonbooks, 2019). She also hosts the podcast Cant Lit with Jen Sookfong Lee. She is the artistic director of the Real Vancouver Writers Series and is on the editorial board of fine.press.
