Description

This is a collection of poetry, reflections, and inspirational writings that portray a variety of emotions and experiences common to the human experience. In the pages you will find poems about joy, love, awe, sorrow, heartache, pain, encouragement, faith, family and relationships. Many of the poems are of a spiritual nature and some are reflections about life and its challenges including current events that have impacted our lives and culture; some will inspire you and others will challenge you. This collection of poems and inspirational prose and reflections was written over many years from high school through adult life and are arranged in no particular order. The author intended them this way because our life experiences and emotions we feel come in no particular order because life is a continuous flow of experiences that are diverse and ever-changing. The authors hope is that as you read the words you will feel a connection with some of the experiences and emotions that you have felt in your own life and realize that you are not alone in whatever you go through and God is always with you.

Author Bio

Barbara Lennon is a native of North Carolina, and currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina with her husband, Delwynne Lennon, and their daughters, Sherelle and Destiny, daughter Esther (Sheria) Gaines and son-in-law Emmanuel Gaines and their sons Jonathan, Justice and Elijah also live in Raleigh, North Carolina. Barbara earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with a Concentration in Christian Counseling from Liberty University and a Paralegal Certificate from Duke University. Barbara enjoys helping and serving others and participates in a variety of activities in her community and church. She has a desire to help and encourage others and feels a part of her purpose in life is to lend her voice through writing, speaking, and teaching opportunities to encourage, uplift, and inspire others in their journey through life. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family, reading, writing, walking and riding her bike. She also loves going to the beach to relax and enjoy the beauty and vastness of God's creation.
